Climbing

Fassa Dolomites are the birthplace of the modern era of climbing — and all within easy reach of the property! This is the address if you need an Alpine guide.

Trekking

The Fiemme area offers a full range of options, with well-maintained and numbered paths suitable for all abilities. If you prefer, you can ask for the assistance of a local guide.

Multisport Parks and Zipwire

Jungle Adventure parks, mountain biking tracks and multi-sports parks: every village in Val di Fassa has at least one – not to forget the eleven-hundred metre zipwire in Rosengarten, near Vigo. Click here for a photo gallery.

Ice skating

There is an ice rink in Alba, within walking distance from the Aparthotel Princess. The rink is also open in the evening, offering fun for all the family!

Bike (with shuttle express service)

For those who enjoy cycling in nature, a beautiful cycle path (57 km) connects the valleys of Fiemme and Fassa. You ride from Canazei (1,465 m) to Molina di Fiemme (965 m), and from mid-June to mid-September, every day except Saturdays, you can take a special shuttle to go back: the Bike Express, a bus with 30-50 seats and with a trailer for bikes.

MTB in Fassa Valley

The area is full of cross country tracks, and Canazei also has three breathless downhill tracks for more expert riders.

Monday

• MTB ADULT TEST TOUR:
  Medium / easy MTB excursion through woods and single trails with MTB instructors who will be able to evaluate your skills and consequently advise you what excursions to do during the week.
• MTB TEST DAY CHILDREN AND BOYS:
  Test day at the Skill-park in Canazei to have fun with the instructors! Children and young people can then decide whether to take part in weekly MTB courses

Wednesday

• TOUR ½ DAY:
  Every week a different proposal of half-day tours in enduro or cross country style.

Friday

• SELLARONDA MTB TOUR:
  Clockwise, anti-clockwise or gravity version. Very famous panoramic tour around the monumental Gruppo del Sella on the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage. Uphills with the lifts on the passes Gardena, Campolongo, Pordoi and Sella, and then down on breathtaking trails, enjoying unique landscapes. (Bikepass not for free).

Racing bikes in the Fassa Valley

Princess is the ideal base from which to explore the Four Dolomites' Passes Area, being located on the way to the Fedaia Pass, part of the Giro d'Italia route in 2011.

Passo Sella will be closed to cars and all vahicles every Wednesday in July and August.

Cycle route in the Fassa Valley

Spectacular scenery surrounds this gentle route, which winds its way through woods and meadows, perfect to enjoyment as a family. This long route (48km) descends the Fassa and Fiemme Valleys, following the winter Marcialonga (cross country classic) track.

Bike Express Service Fiemme - Fassa Valley

Every day, except Saturday, from mid June to mid September 2018, the Bike Express service (a 30-50 seater coach with a bike trailer), allows cyclists to return to Canazei (at an altitude of 1.465 m) from Molina di Fiemme (965 m), the endpoint of the cycle route - offered at discounted prices for our guests!
